Edinburgh

Edinburgh, the historic centre of Scotland's legal, financial and commercial power, is now enjoying an even greater status as the seat of the new Scottish Parliament. The city today is a modern and outward-looking European capital where excellent communications and transport links and superb educational infrastructure are underpinned by a wonderful quality of life - in polls, the city regularly appears as one of the top five places in the world to live and work.

And within the city, Caltongate occupies a unique position. It is within a few minutes walk of the multi-award winning Parliament building to the east, Edinburgh's fashionable shopping areas and the gardens of Princes Street to the north, and the financial and commercial centres of The Exchange District and Saltire Court to the West.

Caltongate will transform the Waverley Valley into Edinburgh's most central and most attractive commercial hub as well as a new focal point for living, leisure and shopping. In the process, it will change the way the city centre works.
